Meta, in collaboration with EYEYAH!, is proud to support the Digital for Life movement, and showcase our youth and online safety program, a peer-to-peer ‘ambassador program’ in Singapore to educate teens on how to take ownership of their social media experience. Using eye-catching illustrations and animations to spark conversation, the program covers consuming and interacting with content as well as specific actions and tools that teens can use to facilitate a positive social media experience. The programme was piloted in The Institute of Technical Education and has been rolled out across 10 schools in Singapore, reaching 15,000 students and providing access to online resources and toolkits to enhance their knowledge and understanding of online harms, as well as preventative and safety tools.
