Join us for a hands-on Digital Storytelling Workshop designed to help seniors document, reflect, and share their life journeys through photos, videos, and social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. This guided programme blends creativity with digital skills to transform everyday memories into powerful personal and community stories.

Overview

The Digital Storytelling Programme equips participants with essential storytelling, photography, and videography skills through structured, progressive training sessions. Participants will learn how to use mobile devices and digital tools confidently while discovering creative ways to express life experiences and connect with others.

Aligned with the World Health Organisation’s Active Ageing framework, this programme supports holistic well-being by nurturing social connection, emotional expression, mental stimulation, sense of purpose, and active participation.

Day 1: Storytelling & Life Journaling
Day 2: Photography & Editing
Day 3: Videography & Editing
Day 4: Social Media Sharing, AI & Digital Tools for Storytelling

Age 50 and above
Speak and understand English (For English Workshop)/Chinese (For Chinese workshop)
Own a smartphone or tablet
Commit to attending all training days
Willing to share personal life stories
Basic familiarity with social media, or be open to using social media
