In this 1-hour interactive workshop, participants will learn from social enterprise Bamboo Builders how to recognize and respond to scams that affect people of all ages. Using real-life examples of job scams, investment scams, and government official impersonation scams, the session explains how scammers operate and the psychological tricks they use to gain trust.
Participants will practise spotting early warning signs, learn simple protective steps, and explore ways to share scam prevention tips with family, friends, and neighbours. The workshop uses plain language, relatable scenarios, and group discussions to ensure everyone, from youths to seniors, can feel confident and prepared to keep themselves and their communities safe.
