Learn how to set up two-step verification on WhatsApp. Two-step verification is an optional feature that adds more security to your account by protecting it with a personalized PIN number. Watch this video to learn how to set up two-step verification to protect your WhatsApp account. In your WhatsApp settings, tap Account. Select Two-step verification and then click Enable. You can add an email address to allow WhatsApp to send you an email to reset your PIN in case you ever forget it. WhatsApp will occasionally prompt you to enter your PIN to help you remember it.
