Sometimes, what happens online hits harder than we expect. If you’ve been affected by online harms or exposed to experiences that left you shaken, it’s okay to reach out. Some things take time to process and having the right support can make all the difference.

You can start by talking to someone you trust (a parent, older sibling, teacher, or close friend). Opening up to someone who cares about you can help you take the first step towards feeling better. 

However, if you would rather speak to someone outside your circle or need more specialised support, here’s a guide to the helplines and support services you can turn to, based on what you’re going through:

For Support In School

School counsellors can help you learn strategies to manage your emotions and cope with stressful situations. This enables you to make good choices for positive change and development. Don’t be afraid to approach your teacher if you wish to get support from a school counsellor.

For Online Harm Support

If you have experienced online harm such as harassment, cyberstalking, doxxing, or non-consensual sharing of your intimate images:
