Friend Not Found: Would You Know What to Do?

Synopsis:
When Travis suddenly disappears from social media, his friends Keila, Ryan, and Javier grow worried. They soon discover he has been the target of cruel online bullying—fake posts, edited images, and hurtful messages. Realizing they missed the signs, the friends decide to step up and show Travis that he is not alone. By reaching out with real support and care, they begin to help him heal. This reminds us that friendship means more than just a follow.

Friend Not Found, created by students from St. Hilda’s Secondary School, won  3rd place at the Better Internet Video Challenge 2025.

The Better Internet Video Challenge 2025 , organised by Yishun Innova Junior College (Centre of Excellence for Digital Literacies) in collaboration with the Media Literacy Council, invites students to create short films that educate audiences about and advocate for digital safety and wellness.

In response to this year’s theme, “Empowering a Safe and Resilient Online Community,” these young creators showed how everyone can play a part in staying safe online, supporting peers, and responding thoughtfully to online harm.
